Welcome to 6th grade trumpet class. It is very hard to be the best section in the band and because of these high expectations we are putting a few very important FUNdamental videos on this page to help you in your quest for greatness.
Cleaning Your Trumpet
Now that you have played your trumpet and pushed all that warm air into it. You will need to clean your instrument every other month or so. This is a great video for how to clean your trumpet. The first time you do this make sure that your parents are around to help so that you get all the pieces back where they started. If you don't assemble it correctly it won't play. So be very careful.

So what does the greatest instrument in the world sound like. Well... There are a ton of amazing trumpet players out there and they all have unique sounds. Since you are planning to add your name to that list I would strongly suggest picking a couple favorites and listening to as many recording of them as possible. The best way to learn to make a great sound is by listening enough to know what a great sound is. Here are a few videos to help you get started.
