GLENWOOD ART EXIBIT...

Student artwork has been judged to be displayed at the Omaha Artists Cooperative Gallery on their featured “High School Wall”.  Artwork will be displayed now through the end of November. Everyone is invited to the opening on Friday, November1st , featuring our work along with the professional artists of the Coop Art Gallery. This is a great opportunity to showcase the talents of our school and give students a chance to exhibit in a professional gallery.

Artists Cooperative Gallery, 405 South 11th St, Omaha, NE 68102

Gallery hours: noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

BOYS WRESTLING

Boys wrestling will have a pre-season meeting next Tuesday, November 5th after school in Mr. Williams classroom. Bring your wrestling shoes and we will have a quick open mat after the meeting. Spread the word to anybody interested in joining the wrestling team this year. 

 

Here is the open mat schedule for the next 2 weeks: 

Sunday, Nov 3rd from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at the wrestling building,

Tuesday, November 5th/Thursday, November 7th at the high school wrestling room from 3:45-5:00 P.M. 

Sunday, Nov 10th from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at the wrestling building

Tuesday, November 12th/Thursday, November 14th at the high school wrestling room from 3:45-5:00 P.M.

 

The first official day of practice will be Monday, November 18th.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Attention 9-12th grade boys basketball players:  There will be an informational/sign up meeting for the upcoming season on Wednesday at 3:30 in the cafeteria.  After the meeting, we will have an open gym until 5:15. Please make arrangements to be there.  If you have any questions, see Coach Schulte.

Attention Seniors - If you are 17, you can volunteer to work at a polling location on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5th.  You can receive service learning hours for your time.  If you are interested, contact Ms. Jacobus.
Attention Students - Election 2024 Reminders: Contact Ms. Jacobus if you have questions.
The first day to do in-person absentee voting in Iowa is Oct. 16. You can vote at the Auditor's window at the County Courthouse, Main Floor
