Glenwood Blood Drive Committee is looking
for a Freshman representative!
Together, we can save a life
How to Get Involved
- Apply to be on the committee your Freshman year!
- Only one person chosen per year
- Once you are accepted your Freshman year, you are the representative for your grade all 4 years!
- Give blood as often as you can once you turn 16!
Why Choose Blood Drive Committee?
- At the end of your Senior year, you get a scholarship for up to $3,000!!! (That’s a lot of moolah kids.)
- You get 48 volunteer hours per year, that takes care of your community service requirements your first year! By the end of your senior year you will have almost 200 hours just from Blood Drive.
- Donating blood is one of the easiest ways to help people in need!
- Being on the committee teaches you people skills and how important volunteer work is.
Important Information
- If chosen to be on the committee, you are not REQUIRED to donate blood but it is greatly appreciated by those in need (and it helps with your scholarship.)
- You can not donate blood until you are 16 years old with your parent’s consent.
If you are a freshman and would like to apply to be the class of 2027 representative click on this link, make a copy of the application and return it to Mrs. Jennifer Lewis by Wednesday, September 13th. You can also email Mrs. Lewis and request an application.
