Dear Parent, Student, and Educator,

We have a full week of school with an early out Wednesday. We appreciate all those who attended and participated in last week’s homecoming festivities! Thank you to our volunteers for making the week a success. See below for high school news and highlights.

School Picture Orders (9-12)

Here is how to order student pictures from school picture day that was previously held on Sept. 25th at GHS.

  • Wait for the proof that comes with packets that all students will receive.  Proofs will be handed out at school and come with a code that you can order from.
  • OR, Go to myLifetouch.com and search by student ID. You can order by student iD and name for 11 months from the original picture day. 
  • Need help with ordering or questions, call 1-800-736-4753.
  • Picture retakes are scheduled for November 8th at the high school.

Josten’s Ordering of Caps and Gowns (Seniors)

Please find attached a link to Josten's for ordering your graduation items.  If you scroll down on the left side you will see a cap and gown package you can order for $57.95.

Ramily Matters –Family Event

Tuesday, Oct. 8th at Glenwood Middle School, 5:30-7:00 pm there will be a carnival and pizza provided by Ramily Matters. 

High School Conferences

Conferences for the high school are scheduled for October 15th and 21st. We will begin scheduling conferences by making contact with families by email for a scheduled day/time. 

Conferences are held from 4:30-8:30pm virtually. In-person meetings or phone contacts may also be scheduled by appointment with student’s teachers.

Would you like to join the Glenwood PTA? 

We have set dates for our upcoming PTA meetings. These will all take place at Bucksnort up stairs in the open area. They will be the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30.  We welcome any and all parents, educators, support staff that would like to join us. Next Mtg: Oct 8th.

 

PSAT Test in October (11th graders) 

Mrs. Rodenburg sent information about the PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) to 11th graders and their parents. The optional test will take place in October (TBD) during the week and is digital. The cost is $18 for the test. If you receive Free & Reduced Lunch due to income, there is a waiver. Please complete this form to register.

10/17 - 10th grade Respect Retreat at GHS during the day

10/24 –Teen Driver & Situational Awareness Safety Presentation at GHS during the day

10/25 –No School

Youth Frontiers: Respect Retreat
