There are many events going on throughout homecoming week. We welcome back everyone and hope you can enjoy many of the scheduled events.

You are encouraged to buy tickets to the football game in advance as this will assist with getting people through the gate faster. Please buy tickets at: Bound

Monday

Spirit Week
HS: Pajama Day
MS: Color Day: 6th-Blue, 7th-Green, 8th-Red
West: Pajama Day "Rams Dreaming of a Victory"
NE: Red, White, and Blue Day

Tuesday

Spirit Week
HS: Duo Day
MS: Decade or Team Day
West: Favorite Team Day (college or pro) "Handle the Monarchs like a Pro"
NE: Jersey/Favorite Team Day

Wednesday

Spirit Week
HS: Decade Day
MS: Students Dress as Teachers and Teachers Dress as Students Day
West: Dress Like an Adult Day, "Rams Go to Work on the Monarchs"
NE: Bright Colors or Tie Dye Day

High School Street Painting: All HS Students invited from 6-7pm

Thursday

MS: Safari Day or Hawaiian Tourist Day
West: Hawaiian Tourist Day "Touchdown in the Tropics, Go Rams!"

Coronation
7:00pm, in the High School Gymnasium
Tickets are $5 at the door, can be purchased in advance from Concessions Sept 5th 7:30am-8am or at the VB game Sept. 14th

Homecoming Dance
Doors open at 7pm
$5 at the door, non-Glenwood Students must be pre-registered
Portraits by Amy will be taking photos

5th Annual Homecoming Street Dance:
Hosted by Glenwood Alumni and Parea Cocktail Lounge
$5 cover, with proceeds going toward scholarship funds
Open at 7pm, 1st Street, bring your chairs
Music starts at 8pm Featuring Wrecked Becky

Glenwood Fire and Rescue Overnight Meal: Sat./Sun., Sept. 10-11th 10pm-3am, Biscuits and Gravy, Pancakes, Sausage

Sunday

Glenwood Cross Country Fried Chicken Dinner
11am-1pm Take Out Only from High School. It is $15 for Fried Chicken, Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Dessert & Drinks

Homecoming Parade

Friday, Sept. 15, 1:30pm on the Square

"Memorable Event from the Year You were Born" Parade sponsored by the Glenwood Homecoming Parade Committee begins at 1:30pm Friday, September 15th
Parade Route: Starting at the corner of 1st and Vine, proceeding around the North, West, and South Side of the Square.
Register a Float or Banner by contacting glenwoodhomecomingparadecommit@gmail.com Or sent to Kally’s, 422 First Street, Glenwood, IA 51534.
Float Registration must be submitted by 5pm, Sept. 13th
Drop-off students riding floats starting at 1st and Vine extending north--Drop students between 1:15-1:30, there will be no adult supervision prior to 1:15 and students need to be dropped off by 1:30
Pickup for those riding a class float: Northeast and West students at Sugarmakery/Police Station Parking Lot
Grades K-2 will have classroom floats, Grades 3-5 will either walk with a banner or have a float, Grades 6-12 will create grade level floats

Fireworks

THERE WILL BE FIREWORKS AFTER THE FOOTBALL GAME!

Fireworks will be sponsored by the Glenwood Alumni Association
