8th Grade Volleyball
9/30 LC Game
The 8th grade girls got the sweep against LC last night! The A team was led in kills by Aubree F with 8, Jordyn S with 4 , and Natalie C with 3. The team had 18 aces, led by Jordyn S with 6, and Greely C and Natalie C adding 4 each.
The B team had 13 aces on the night led by Haylee D with 5, Danika D, Nadia S and Jadyn W added 2 each. Haylee D and Baily P also had 2 kills each.
The C team had 16 aces led by Mattie T with 6, Emily Z with 4, and Shelby M with 2. Thursday the 8th grade plays Red Oak at home in our Middle School gym!
7th Grade Volleyball
The 7th graders worked really hard against LC last night. The A team came away with a win taking all 3 sets. They were led by Kendall Hough and Emery Bickle at the serving line. Each girl gave the Rams 5 aces. Kendall, Rylee Hutchings, and Berklie Kerns each added 3 kills to help the girls win.
The B and C games were a little tougher and LC played very well. The girls couldn't quite overcome the challenge and both teams lost 0-3 in their matches. The girls battled hard and will be back in action Thursday night at home vs Red Oak.
Cross Country
Congrats to both girls and boys cross country teams for taking first place in Harlan on Saturday!

- Picture Retakes are November 8th
- Open mat for wrestling will start on Sunday, September 22nd and continue through November 10th every Sunday from 5:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the wrestling building. Talk to Mr. Weber if you have any questions.
- Robotics T-shirt forms are in the office
- The MS Play/Drama production will be at the end of February. Auditions for the play will be held in December. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student may audition for the play as long as they are in good academic standing. Rehearsals will begin in December and run up to the production date in February. Rehearsals will be after school. More information about auditions will be in the MS announcements at the end of November and early December. The play will be announced at audition time. - Student Council will be selling black and gold beads in the gym, before school, during homecoming week. One set (one black, one gold) is $1.
