Boys Cross Country
Saturday, October 19, the 7th and 8th grade boys CC team participated in the State Middle School Meet at Ankeny Centennial High School.
The team, which combined both 7th and 8th grade scores, placed 6th of 19 teams in the 3 A division.
The top 50 runners were awarded medals in each grade level.
Glenwood 7th graders came home with 3 medals in a race of 97 boys.
Congratulations to Deagan Stanley, Ben Gangwish, and Jake Schmiesing.
Glenwood 8th graders came home with 2 medals in a race of 148 boys.
Congratulations to Lucas Kauffman and Jax Long.

Be on time and ready to roll each day to rack up points and see which class can get the highest bowling score for perfect attendance and punctuality. Every time you're in class, on time, and prepared, you're helping your team score!

- There will be an 8th Grade Boys Basketball meeting today during lunch. Any 8th grade boy interested in participating in basketball should attend this meeting.
- All Fall Sports participants, don’t forget to fill out your Postseason Sports survey sent out by Mr. Starner.
- 8th Grade football players, there will be a second drawing for signed football helmets. Please sign the helmets by Thursday, October 24th. To be entered in the drawing, your Postseason survey must be turned in.
- 7th grade football equipment turn in will be on Monday during Rams Time. Remember to take all your stuff home and wash it before returning it.
- There will be a 7th grade boys basketball preseason meeting on Wednesday in Mr. Corcoran's room. Please attend if you plan on playing, and reach out to Coach Corcoran if you are not able to attend.
- If you would like to sign up for Basketball or Wrestling and missed sign ups please stop in the office.
- Picture Retakes are November 8th. Please let the office know if you are planning on retakes. Thank You!
- Open mat for wrestling will start on Sunday, September 22nd and continue through November 10th every Sunday from 5:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the wrestling building. Talk to Mr. Weber if you have any questions.
- Robotics T-shirt forms are in the office
