Basketball Recap

The 8th grade boys competed against Treynor last night coming away with a 36-31 victory in the A game, and coming up short 33-22 in the B game.  The A team was paced in points by Evan Stanislav with 11 and Brad Hughes with 8, while the B team was paced in points by Odin May with 6.  The boys will be back in action tomorrow against Clarinda in the Aux gym at the high school.

In last night’s 7th Grade game the A team fell to Treynor 47-40 and the B team picked up a 31-20 victory. The A team was led in scoring by another 18 point night by Bennett Grile and 12 from Nile Jensen. Our legs may have been a little tired but our hearts were not. We are very proud of all of these boys for their tenacity and grit. There is no quit in these boys. The B game was a very balanced scoring affair from all. The C team also battled all game long. We hope you are as proud of these young men as we are. Be there Thursday at 4:15 as your Rams have their first home game of the season as Clarinda comes to town. We will regroup and put on a great show for all of you to see. Go Rams!!!!
