Student Bulletin 12/6/23

• 7th Boys Basketball will have practice Thursday and Friday morning at 6am.

• Girls wrestling pictures are in the office

• 6th grade band will be rehearsing on Thursday during 6th hour.

Students that will miss your class either 6th or 8th hour are encouraged to attend class during their band time.

Email Dan or Elsa if you have questions / concerns.

• Mrs. Buckingham is looking for 2 students to help with lights and sound for the MS Play. There will be a HS student helping as well. But she would like to train 2 MS students to assist the HS student on lights and sound. If you are interested you would need to be able to attend rehearsals after school on Dec. 12, 13, and 14th. You would also need to be available for the evening performance on Dec. 15th. Please contact Mrs. Buckingham if you are interested in helping out. 

• Art Club will meet on Tuesday, December 19th from 3:30-4:30 in Mrs. Pontefract’s classroom. 

• Students:  We will start exchanging stars for raffle tickets next week.  You can exchange 5 stars for a raffle ticket.

• Students:  The Winter Raffle Challenge has begun.  For each week you are in school all 5 days, you can earn a raffle ticket.  And, if you are in school for 14 out of the next 15 school days, you can earn another raffle ticket.  You will also be able to cash in 5 stars for a raffle ticket in a few weeks.

• Glenwood Community Middle School will be offering a strength and conditioning program for all students grades 6th through 8th.  The program will meet weekly from 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday and Friday’s.  There is no individual cost in participating in the program.  Permission Slips can be picked up in the Office.
