Positive Behavior Interventions & Support
Northeast Elementary is a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school. PBIS is a process for creating school environments that are more predictable and effective for achieving academic and social goals which should change our school culture for the better.

In the lunchroom, we eat and clean up after ourselves

On the bus, we keep our hands, feet, and objects to ourselves
In the classroom, we follow the rules and routines with our best effort
In the restroom, we go, flush, wash, and leave
At recess, we use our hands, feet, and equipment correctly
At arrival and dismissal, we keep our hands and feet to ourselves and keep objects in our backpacks/bags

In the lunchroom, we talk quietly, listen, and follow directions
In the hallway, we use a quiet voice, listen, and follow directions
On the bus, we listen and follow directions
In the classroom, we treat others the way we wish to be treated
In the restroom, we clean up after ourselves

In the lunchroom, we keep hands, feet, and objects to ourselves and we always walk
In the hallway, we keep hands, feet, and objects to ourselves and we always walk on the right side of the hall
On the bus, we stay in our seats and use a quiet voice
In the classroom, we get permission to leave and regulate our body and emotions
In the restroom, we wait quietly for our turn
At recess, we walk to line up and pay attention to our environment
At arrival and dismissal, we walk and stay in designated areas
