As we prepare for the winter season, we want to update you on our procedures for school closures due to inclement weather. This year, we will utilize Virtual Weather Days for the first five make-up days, if necessary.  On these days, students and staff will engage in remote learning to maintain instructional progress. Should we need additional closure days beyond these five, they will be added to the end of the school year. We ask that you plan for possible make-up days during the last week of May, as weather patterns can be unpredictable.

On a Virtual Weather Day, building administration and teachers will be communicating with students and families. However, please access the link below for basic guidelines and expectations for virtual days.

Virtual Learning Expectations

Senate File 391 provides school districts with the flexibility to deliver up to 5 days (30 hours) of instruction primarily over the internet. Additional days may be added at the end of second semester, as necessary, for make-up days.
